Podcasting

Yes, I've started podcasting with 3 other friends of mine. Over here. And we're still working out the kinks and the format (and technical issues, like volume - it sounded pretty loud in the headphones when I was mixing it!), but if you have some time to kill, they may be fun to listen to.

I haven't listened but I was wondering what you are using for software? I found audacity works very well and it's free. Otherwise, the key is getting a good mic or two and making sure everyone is in the proper zone. And then just playing with the levels until you get it right. Good luck!

I have audacity, because I can't find my Sound Forge disc.

I did the mix in Acid Pro - but I forgot to normalize the speech tracks first.

Looks interesting, will take a listen. Here's a link to a nice little tool called the levelator (http://www.conversationsnetwork.org/levelator/) I found some time ago that may save you some processing work. Good luck with the podcasting.
