Where am I?

where are the horses? Why am I asking stupid questions?

I've been working on this draft for about 11 hours straight, and my brain is mush. I probably shouldn't have stayed up till the wee hours of the morning mixing a song last night (after 8 hours in the studio recoring the tracks -- another 12 hour "work day"), especially since I knew I had to get 3 days worth of work done in 24 hours. But I'm taking a "dinner break" to relax the braincells.

I could kill this one developer for "updating" his source material. No change bars and very subtle changes in some of the screencaps. "Oh, Wendy, it's no problem for you to completely re-do that section that took you 6 hours in the first place, cutting pasting reformatting and rewriting."

And I have to make a freakin' index to boot.

Vacation can't come soon enough. no sir.

oooh. those are purty. I wish they were my horses. I've never had any real horses, you know. And I haven't ridden one for at least 20 years.

I suppose I should have put that in quotes. I get to collect unemployemnt again. I'm "on furlough" -- but I'm also finaly going to see my brother's house in Wisconsin -- and I'm counting that as a vacation. He's been out there for almost 8 years, and this is my first opportunity to go.
