voxwomanHopefully, anyway. I FedExed everything to the CD manufacturer on Monday, and today I get a call that the graphics department can't open a whole bunch of files. In my haste, I guess I created a multisession CD-ROM and forgot to close it? I have no idea at this point. So I spent the afternoon FTPing the files to them. I haven't heard back from them, so I think I'm OK (my account manager there said he'd call in time for me to get to fedex before this evening's shipment deadline if he needed a new CD)
I'm pretty excited about it, and I think it turned out better than I expected it to, considering that I've never done this much of the process by myself.
Yesterday was an expensive day. I paid for the repro and bought the kid a cell phone, and upgraded mine. I'm now wrestling with a Bluetooth headset, which I think is the coolest thing ever, but I'm not, shall we say, adept at it. And I haven't memorized the list of voice commands to make it completely useful yet. I'm very glad we have free calling between the family cell phones.
Now I just have to survive the CD release party next month.
