Help Me Choose a Color! Updated! Now with more logo!

I have a bunch of logo variations here. I don't know which style or color I like best, so I'm getting opinions from the intertubes.

UPDATE: I took your (and people elesewhere online) comments to heart and came up with these to critique.

Which one (if any) of these logos would you pick for a compnay that provides writing, graphic design, video editing, audio services, and possibly home theater installation? (I'm going to find out if my husband and I can combine our businesses into one.)

Me, I like the concept of 3a.

While purple is a good colour, it may not be too fitting for your logo. Certainly no pink, I'd say ;-p.

Plus: We're seeing it on a white background...

Nice as a letterhead, but what if you want trucks, boxes, etc? Not many backgrounds will work with this, since black and white are taken. But maybe this can all wait.

It certainly looks clean and convincing from here - where it won't count anyway, right ;-)?

I like the outline effect on "Sheridan" in #3, but I don't like the effect on MultiMedia as shown. I would prefer either the non-outlined Multimedia from #1, or an outlined but constant color version not shown (like the left side of #3, but all the way across).

I don't much like orange, but it does have the best "grab factor" of the choices shown.

I like B and C, only on C I'd like to see purple on both M's rather than the gray.

I like 1a. It's clean and neat.

Otherwise, B or F.

I don't like the outlined letters in #3, I think it looks odd.

C is a nice concept with 2 colors, but the colors used don't really work. But having 2 colors you can use is convenient when creating other items.

I've just redesigned the logo for our podcasting venture and the dual colors have been very convenient to use in the items I'm creating for zazzle.

Go to your LJ page and hover over the links to the graphic images... see how the various color combinations look in much smaller sizes. Some of those latter ones against the black background make your name just about disappear.

i like 1a on white

dont hate me.... Im just thinking the graphic design/ writing thing should feature somewhere.... would a tool of the trade or some neat shapes as a very simply tidy florish at one corner work
