My round robin quilt top is now complete
Aug. 11th, 2009 08:54 pmI'm in the process of basting it now, in preparation for quilting it. Just added some framing borders to make it big enough to cover shoulders AND feet when laying on the couch :) But before it becomes a couch potato wrap, I plan to exhibit it in one of the local guild shows this fall. When I brought it to show and tell at Harvest Quilters last week, there were a lot of oohs and ahhs from the other quilters there -
maedb 's prairie points were a huge hit.
When I hung it up on the clothesline this afternoon to photograph it (after finishing the borders), I was stunned at how much the quilt looks like a stained-glass window with the light shining through it. I just want to thank ALL of you for your contributions. It's a really awesome quilt. When I get the label done, it will have everyone's name, city and country on it.
So, without further ado,
