Finally, Some Pictures

voxwomanIt's Teen Movie night, and us grownups are huddled in the office upstairs (unless we are pressed into wait staff duty). So I finally have time to locate the cable that connects my camera to the computer and upload some office photos. Some of you have been waiting quite patiently, and the rest of you can see what I've been doing instead of quilting.
This is the other end of my bedroom (where the office used to be) And that's my SF collection on the walls. I have no room for expansion, and I'm going to have to do something about that. Luckily, there is an area behind where I'm standing to take the picture that can accommodatemore shelves..
My new desk, in "computer mode" the keyboard drawer and faux drawers close and it changes into a regular desk.
My husband's desk. The whiteboard on the left is now on the wall, and his laptop and some papers are now on there. His drawers are still empty, however, but that's not going to last long (not if I have anything to say about it, Muahahaha)
The long view, showing off some of the bookshelves and layout. The entryway is immediately to the left of the photo.
the "conference" table, where my daughter now does her homework. Also the entry door (on the right), and the other bookshelves, which contain my collection of Bablylon5 action figures (mint in box), some Godzillas and Queen Amidalya.
Not shown is the high shelf over the desks and doorway (on both sides of the beam) and the "back wall" where there are still boxes and file cabinets and some more shelving.
Someday all this will be organized. But not today...
