Buried

I've been buried under all sorts of projects, work, and deadlines, so I haven't been keeping up with the blogging here or anywhere, really. Getting readiy for the Big Quilt Show this weekend, and neice's wedding the next. The only good thing about it is that once these are over with, they are OVER with, and I can get on with the rest of my to do list. None of this would have been possible had I been cast in that play. I don't even have a spare weekend evening to go see who they DID cast, and how the production went.

So, what did they force you to do for your niece's wedding?!

Hell, I'm sure if I lived nearby, you'd be the answer to all my creative-/IT-/writing-/sewing and general problems, as well. But I sure hope you'd just tell me to GO HANG once in a while ;-D!

I haven't been "forced" to do anything - but I made her a quilt for a wedding present, instead of just throwing money at her (which wouldn't have been enough in any case) - the quilt is also going in the show this weekend (hopefully will win a ribbon, but I'm not holding my breath about that). However, there are a host of logistics arrangements to be made because the wedding is taking place out of town, and we have to travel there and stay at a hotel, and even though I tried to get R to deal with all of that, he didn't understand that we can't just pile into the car in our new-bought finery and arrive after hours of travel right into the church. So I had to "fix" the reservations, and go dress shopping for me and A, and get shoes, and...
