Over at MagCloud (a print on demand service run by HP). The design, layout, writing and illustrations are all me. I'm officially "self-published". What has been surprising is the amount of time and work it took to write and illustrate 4 pages of instructions. Keeping it to 4 pages was also a bit of a challenge. If I went over 4 pages, I'd have to go to 8, because of the way booklet printing goes.
It's an easy beginner pattern, but I've priced it accordingly.
Hours In The Garden, the next pattern in the queue, is going to be a lot more work. I'm hoping to keep it to an 8-page booklet, but if I'm including actual-size paper/foundation piecing patterns, that may not be possible.
I may divert and do another craft pattern before I write up HitG - we'll see. I've been "procrastinating" about it for 2+ years now, but I recently completed another top, and took better notes this time, so I'm hoping it should come together faster.
