So, about hurricane Sandy
Aug. 19th, 2013 12:01 pmAs you may or may not know, we had a tree down last October from the hurricane. We are finally able to get moving on remediation and repairs - not because funds have suddenly become available, but because I finally got tired of playing phone tag and excuse-du-jour with the tree/landscape service that hand originally contracted with me to remove the tree stump from my yard so I could replace the fence. This has been going on since FEBRUARY.
I found some other people willing and ready to take care of this for me.
The ground has been cleared this weekend and we are getting on the fence company's schedule this afternoon when we give them a deposit.

Work begins (August 2013)

Notice the shed in the back in the neighbor's yard has been redone.

the roots have been cut away from the stump

fence-ready, waiting for the debris to be hauled away

Looks like very nice work they did there, with your tree.
Will you be getting another fence in your own garden, as well? (I've never quite understood the use of that one ;-).)
And: Will there be another young tree...?
