Waitaminute... I thought the Key Character is the lead, and these are the supporting roles. You are the ones with a destiny! You are Luke Skywalker, and I'm Obi Wan or Yoda (and my husband is Han Solo or something).

Well, as far as I know, the key character is a not as such important person who gives the plot a much needed spin in some way. Cameo roles for elderly celebrities, or something ;-)!
And I have no idea what these starwars characters actually do, to be honest...

OK... same analogy/different story: Key Character: Frodo, Wayfarer Guide: Gandalf, Champion: Legolas, Wayward Heart: Perry and/or the other Hobbit. Does that help?
