book quote guessing game
Jun. 5th, 2005 12:52 pm1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around and look for the "coolest" book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.
6. Get people to guess the book, if they want to. No googling!

I will be incredibly impressed if anyone can guess this. And I seriously doubt that google will help at all. I will tell you the author, however... My mother, under her nom-de-plume, Elizabeth Mansfield. It's the closest book to the keyboard.
