Proof of "Intelligence" in the universe?

When I look at this closely, all I can think of is there's evidence that someone got smart enough to figure out how to blow up their own sun, and stupid enough to actually do it.

Sure is pretty, though.

Update: Here is the cool new jam I've got on a loop in my headphones. I recorded it this evening with our new toy (which I guess I'll talk about in another post tomorrow.
