2 walls worth of books are packed
Aug. 28th, 2006 07:59 amMy office feels naked. I might have to unpack some artwork so I can continue to exist in here. I really hate bare walls. Maybe this room is the place for the Big Ganesh Sarong.
And speaking of Ganesh, there was a sizeable field mouse in the living room last night. The cat hasn't been able to get in amongst the TV stuff to catch him yet. But that's a good thing - I'd rather relocate him than have to deal with his corpse. Voxspouse has also discovered lots of droppings in the basement (they must come out and taunt the ferrets at night). And my Druid friend Norma has informed us that Ganesh does attract mice, and we've got Ganesh statues all over the house. I don't mind sharing my space with mice as long as they (a) stay out of my bread drawer and my pantry and (b) don't bring Lyme disease ticks inside.
But boy was he ever cute, sticking his head out alongside the surround speaker under the TV, seeing if the coast was clear.
