If this were my brothers' blog, there would be some amazing photos of a field of ice-covered trees bordering a crystal blue sky; their white brilliance only eclipsed by the snowfield before them.

There would be close-up photos of icicles hanging from stop signs, and a photo-tour of Hance Avenue in Tinton Falls, NJ that was transformed into the Ice Queen's Narnia just about lunchtime.

But this is my blog. I'm the dolt who leaves their camera at home, who decides that the camera inside her cell phone will just tease with horrible low-resolution photos that certainly aren't worth the buck-and-a-quarter to email them back to myself.

I hang my head in shame
That I didn't have a camera.
That I kept on driving.
That this isn't my brother's blog.

I must now add camera to the contents of my purse. (You really should have seen this. It was awesome.)

What's worse then seeing something awesome and not having a camera? Seeing something awesome, pulling out your digital camera, only to find that the batteries died horrible deaths in your purse.

:-) so, beyond that, how are you?

OK, I guess. I'm in that time before "things get better" like I know they will (like that time between working and getting the first paycheck). Not quite in the "things get better because they can't get any worse" - although if I didn't have such a good sense of humor (and irony) I probably have reasons to feel that way as well. Also, having been through times like these before, I KNOW it's temporary.

Basically, waiting for Spring in more ways than one :)

(Oh and I have a spare battery for the camera that is typically always charged - this camera, a Nickon Coolpix 990, has unique rechargables, and I bought a spare since the recharge time on the battery is a couple of hours)
