Ever have one of those days

where your ferret tried to bury himself in your cleavage? (and no, this is NOT some new sexual perversion - I don't think my ferret has ever seen cleavage before - I usually have more coverage when I play with him - his claws are SHARP.)

His favorite outside activity is running to the back door and trying to get back into the house, poor fella. Barring that, his next favorite activity is climbing up to my shoulders and knocking my hat off my head, and then trying to curl up in it. I think I spent enough time outside with him this morning for him to start to relax, and I've almost got him trained to be a living coat collar (he really likes to drape himself around the back of my neck, and hang his head down my shoulder, peeking through my hair.)

Tomorrow is our big Litha Ritual (the coven men are running it) and I'm the Kitchen Witch - which probably means I'll be guarding food instead of going to the ritual. Ah, well.

At least my Cowboy Bebob box set CD has arrived. I haven't listened to any new jazz type stuff in a really long time, and these guys kick some serious ass.

Sadly, I never even had one single ferret-day in my life ;-)! I never got close to one, I mean. I am sure they are wonderful little creatures.
Are you letting him run free outside? Don't they dig through everything?

no he's on a leash. These domesticated critters don't stand a chance in the wild, and he's too fast to chase around outside.
