However, I found videos of the Starland Ballroom concert by my husband's band, referenced in this post. I am attempting to post them behind the cut.

Video 1: the opener - Queen of the Reich, Queensryche

Video 2: a duet with "Dean" - who is singing out of tune. Dean does fill in gigs for MetalFinger when Rich can't do them (because they're the day after another gig, or the gig got booked and something came up in the meantime. I don't know the name of the song, sorry.

Video 3: check out the light show.  The short female with the ponytail in the green shirt in the audience is our daughter, A. The way cool thing about this show was it was all ages, and all R's children were there that night. His sons were just out of camera shot on the right. I'm the person with the big butt just to the right of the fat bald guy in the foreground.

Video 4: Innervision More excellent lighting. (I think there is cursing in this song).

Anyway, I don't think I'll ever have good videos like this. I also want the originals so I can edit them into some sort of compilation video. Not that I have time for video editing.

I am duly impressed - even if the sound on my old dell is seriously the pits, I can tell that his singing must be AWESOME....
Wish I could have been there!

Whoever made the video could always have a go at yours, come saturday :-D?
(And maybe try to get a bit nearer to stage ;-P!)
Even if you guys have no light show (?), you certainly are just as amazing. You might have a bigger range, probably, while maybe not quite all THAT reach?

The videotaper is a friend/family of the bass player, so I doubt that he/she'll be at the private party this Saturday. However, R will be there, doing sound, and I might ask him to film us. Not that that guarantees I'll post any video of our performance. A daytime backyard BBQ isn't going to look as cool as the Starland. Plus, we're using our own sound equipment (the "small" PA with the band's speakers), and not the 50,000 dollar/watt system at the Starland. It's not going to be anything close to being the same.

I want to see the video to refine my stage act (which could be really stupid), and also to hopefully find 3 minutes worth of footage to use as a demo to get gigs in bars.

That's some guy you got there. And you were certainly not exaggerating about this show. Definitely cool that all the family was there.

And that's it, next time I can get over to visit my cousin (new York area, yay), I'm seeking you and the family out, so now you're warned ;) Though it'll probably be some time before that trip happens.
