Thanks to all of you for your great feedback! I've incorporated as many of the changes as I've been able to, not having a photographer around to document me making a new set of mitts (I did a lot of illustrations in Illustrator instead), so I hope these instructions are better for the "advanced" beginner, and that I explained things a bit better. As I have to get back to writing instructions for software users tomorrow, this will be the final version (at least for a while, anyway).

I still need to tweak my inDesign template a bit, but I think this is a good start.

I just finished writing my first sewing craft instructions, and I would really appreciate some feedback as to whether they are complete enough, or do I need more drawings/pictures of "in-progress" stuff - and if it's clear, and if the project is really "advanced beginner" - (I have been sewing for so long now I don't know what a beginner should know).

I figured these would be an easy project to write up, as opposed to, say, the Winter Solstice quilt pattern (which is also on my :"list of patterns to publish this year")

Anyway this is the link to the pattern (it's a PDF file).
